2019 Victorian Marine & Coastal Forum - building partnerships for our future. 2-3 May 2019, Melbourne.

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) is pleased to announce the 2019 Victorian Marine and Coastal Forum.

The Victorian Marine and Coastal Forum will bring together coastal and marine managers, researchers and volunteers to enable the building of relationships, sharing knowledge and collaborating across the sector to solve current and future marine and coastal challenges.  The forum aims to take a participatory approach through presentations, workshops and networking opportunities to support cross sector collaboration.  The forum plans to have a flexible agenda including facilitated open sessions and breakout groups, where delegates can identify their priorities and work with others to grow their networks and generate ideas and solutions.

The forum will take place in Melbourne on 13-14 June 2019 and will focus on three key marine and coastal themes:

1. Partnerships and participation

2. Policy - the next wave

3. Risks, challenges and opportunities
